As you read in my first blog I am in the process of creating a Visio stencil set for the new Dynamics CRM 2011. So far, all I have showed you what the fields will look like. In this post I am going to show you a more in-depth look into how they will function.
I have added in the ability to adjust and alter each of the different field types to look exactly how you would wish it to on the form. It is possible to change to field to any length that CRM 2011 offers you which includes: Quarter, Half, Full, One-Third, Two-Thirds.
But that wasn’t enough for me as it isn’t only the length of the field that you wish to show your customers, but also which of the fields are Business Required, or Business Recommended. And also a new feature that has been added with CRM 2011 is field level security which I have added as an option on each and every field type.
Still one more thing was missing and that was to have the ability to be able to have a field on the form that was disabled so of course I had to add that.
I hope that this was enough to liven up the little kid inside of you all, and that you will all be back for my next blog with more details on the CRM 2011 Visio Stencil Set.
