How to create E-mail Templates in Dynamics CRM 2011 using ClickDimensions

Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 has given us the flexibility to import solutions in it. In this blog post I will discuss how to create E-mail Templates in Dynamics CRM 2011 by using the features of ClickDimensions.

To create an E-mail Template in Dynamics CRM 2011 navigate to Marketing > Email Marketing > Email Templates and Click on New.

It will open an E-mail template record. Enter all the required details such as Name (this is for your organisation), Owner, Subject (this is the subject line of your e-mail), Tags (this is the keywords for your organisation), and Choose the appropriate Editor Type from dropdown menu. Click on Save once you have entered all the required details.

You can create your template under HTML version. You can add images, documents, hyperlinks etc. Always remember to click on the small save button in the editor when you add anything to your template. You can enter dynamic fields to your template such as lead first name and contact first name.

You can also add the Text version to an E-mail Template.

You will notice on the ribbon menu there is a Full screen and Clone button. You can click on Full screen button if you want to work on the full screen mode for your template. You can also create a duplicate template by simply clicking on the Clone button on the ribbon it will clone your template however you can change the Name, Subject of the template.
