Creating a Site in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011

As we all know Sites are the physical location where work is done. In Microsoft dynamics CRM 2011 we can assign resources to the site when scheduling a service.

In this blog post I will elaborate how to create a site in Dynamics CRM 2011.

Click on ‘Settings’ > Click on ‘Business Management’ > Click on ‘Sites’.

Click on New and fill up all requisite details such as Name, Address, and Time Zone. Click on Save when you finished modifying your document.

Once you have created the site you can add resources to it. A resource contains values such as Users and Equipment/Facility.  To add resources, click on ‘Add Resources’ and select from ‘User’ and ‘Equipment/Facility’.

These Sites are a very helpful tool which assists us in scheduling our services in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011.
