Microsoft Dynamics CRM R8 Industry Templates

Microsoft in adding more Industry Templates that work in both On-Premise and CRM online. These Industry Templates usually include: data model, pre-configured dashboards, workflow processes and sample data to get you started. Microsoft publishes these templates via Microsoft Dynamics Labs in the Microsoft Dynamics Marketplace.  So far the list of templates includes the following with more expected.

• Distribution
• Manufacturing
• Public Sector
• Retail and Services
• Life Annuity Insurance Sales (designed for insurance agents, brokers, claim managers, underwriters and custom service personnel)
• Non-Profit (management of donors and volunteers as well as track donations, pledges and volunteer hours)
• Health Plan Sales (marketing and sales as well as manage customer value lifecycle)
• Wealth Management (manage portfolios, improve client interaction)

Although Microsoft does not support these solutions directly, they rely on people in the dynamics community and companies like Magnetism to provide that support to the origination wishing to successfully implement them.
