A lot of you may be aware with the new requirements that came out in October many of Microsoft’s competencies require you to have sales professionals pass the Standard Sales or Presales Accreditation. For Magnetism I am one of the lucky people who get to tackle this exam. Easy I thought!
Well now after having gone through all of the preparation materials and attempting the exam four times now and not managing to pass I would like to seek help from the World Wide Web. First, let’s make this clear – when I say I haven’t managed to pass I actually have got between 60-70 per cent every time the catch however, is you need 80% to ‘pass’.
If you, like me, need to sit this exam here is some basic information you will need. You can take the exam via the Partner Learning Center and should allow up to two hours to get through all the questions. As you are sitting this online, on demand, it is obviously open book - although I didn’t find this to be too helpful. There are 50 questions and will include multiple choice, multiple answer and drag and drop questions.
The training to complete in preparation for this exam can be found through Partner Source. Here you will see all of the courses available to you. For the Standard Sales Accreditation for CRM you will need to work through all of the CRM related courses at the ‘Aware’ level and I would recommend going through any of the relevant courses at the ‘Proficient’ level as well where possible.

Ok so my mission of this blog post is to try to find people who have either managed to pass this exam, in the same boat as myself or those who are looking to sit the exam in the near future and gather some information that will hopefully help me to eventually get this one under my belt.
If you are one of these people join my group, ‘Microsoft Dynamics CRM Sales Accreditation’, on LinkedIn and talk to me!
