You may receive the error:
Failed to find Windows Identity Foundation setup package
When attempting to configure Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 for Outlook to connect to your CRM organisation as shown below.
When you click on the View the Log File link, the error log reports the following information:

Windows Identity Foundation feature is not turned on.
Note: This information has only been tested against Windows 8
To resolve this issue; you will need to turn on the Windows Identity Foundation feature within the control panel.
To turn Windows features on or off, follow these steps:
1. From the Control Panel, click Programs, and then click Turn Windows features on or off. Administrator permission required if you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.Now when you attempt to configure Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 for Outlook again you should be shown the following successful screens.
